About Capture Shades
Where It Started
We started Capture Shades because of a pretty simple annoyance: gearing up to record a ride or a run meant strapping on a camera, figuring out a mount, and still needing separate earbuds just to listen to music.
Three devices, two things to charge, and somehow it felt like a hassle to just go outside.
What We Built
So we went looking for something better. Sunglasses that could actually do the job of a camera, headphones, and sport sunglasses, without the bulk.
Capture Shades is what we landed on: HD video, open-ear audio, and polarized lenses, all built into one pair of glasses you'd actually want to wear.
Who It's For
We're building for the person who wants to catch the moment, the trail, the ride, the view, without turning it into a whole production first. Replacing expensive and uncomfortable camera rigs.
