About Capture Shades
Where It Started
We started Capture Shades because of a pretty simple annoyance: gearing up to record a ride or a run meant strapping on a camera, figuring out a mount, and still needing separate earbuds just to listen to music. Three devices, three things to charge, and somehow it still felt like a hassle to just go outside.
What We Built
So we went looking for something better. Sunglasses that could actually do the job of a camera, headphones, and sport sunglasses, without the bulk. Capture Shades is what we landed on: HD video, open-ear audio, and polarized lenses, all built into one pair of glasses you'd actually want to wear.
Who It's For
We're not trying to replace your $400 camera rig if that's what you're into. We're building for the person who just wants to catch the moment, the trail, the ride, the view, without turning it into a whole production first.
